A quick random picker for real-life lists

Toolbar Star turns a plain list into a draw deck. Use it when you need one fair choice, several winners, or a no-repeat round without creating an account, installing an app, or sharing your list with a server.

No-repeat rounds

Move picked names out of the active deck, then restore them when the round is over.

Multi-name draws

Draw a small set of unique winners or speakers in one action instead of spinning again and again.

Starter decks

Load classroom, giveaway, meeting, or chores examples and replace them with your own list.

Random Name Picker FAQ

How do I use the random name picker?

Enter one name per line, choose a draw count, then press Draw names. Toolbar Star randomly selects entries from the current deck.

Can I stop the same name from being picked twice in a round?

Yes. Turn on No-repeat round. Picked names move out of the active deck until you press Restore picked.

Can I draw more than one winner?

Yes. Increase Draw count to draw multiple unique names at once. This is useful for giveaways, small teams, speaking order, or classroom activities.

Does this picker upload my list?

No. Your list is processed locally in your browser. The latest list may be saved on your device so it is still there when you come back.

What can I use it for?

Common uses include classroom participation, random student selection, meeting turns, team games, raffles, giveaways, chores, and quick decisions.
